The PCE-VA 20 anemometer in a volumetric flow hood set is used to measure flow velocity and volumetric flow rate in the maintenance area of ventilation and air conditioning systems. In addition, the volumetric flow hood anemometer can measure environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity. 
From this, the meter calculates dew point (DP) and wet bulb temperature (WBT). All measured and calculated parameters are displayed on the volumetric flow hood anemometer on the two-line LC display. At the top of the screen, the flow rate, humidity and average value are displayed. Depending on the measurement mode, the temperature, volumetric flow, wet bulb temperature and dew point are displayed at the bottom of the display. For a better and faster evaluation of the measured values, maximum, minimum and average readings are also available for the user of the anemometer with the volumetric flow hood.
The anemometer is powered by four 1.5V AAA batteries. Thus, the volume flow hood anemometer can be used as a portable device. In addition to the anemometer, this measuring set also comes with 2 volumetric flow hoods, which can be mounted directly on the display unit. Volumetric flow hoods are suitable for air mass measurements at round and square duct outlets or inlets.
