The PCE-780 is an infrared thermometer with a built-in moisture meter. The dew point, which is calculated by the PCE-780, is displayed on the LCD screen. The control buttons it has can store some limit values. If the measured values ​​exceed the limits, the PCE-780 emits an audible alarm and displays a LOW or HIGH indication on the display.

The PCE-780 also has a relative value measurement function. Thus, a temperature can be stored as a reference point in the instrument from a measuring point. If further measurements are then taken, a good/bad assessment is made by the PCE-780 via a colored bar graph. In addition, the PCE-780 offers the ability to determine the maximum, minimum and average temperature values.
