/ Simple design and easy operation for daily adhesion tension testing / The fast-curing adhesive allows the user to perform tests in a shorter time
The simple design and absolutely straightforward operation make it possible for the professional to use the adhesion tester as an instrument for daily adhesion tests. Using fast-curing adhesive, tests can be performed by the user in the shortest possible time.
The pull-off type adhesion tester is designed to measure the adhesion value of paints and other coatings on surfaces and between layers or cohesive materials. The pull-off adhesion tester is manufactured according to EN13144 and ISO 4624 standards.
Preparation for use
- Clean the surface of the measuring sensor and the surface where you want to place the sensor, for example, using fine sandpaper.
- Prepare the epoxy glue according to the instructions on the packaging and mix it well.
- If you are using single-component super glue, open the tube.
- Apply the glue to the surface and place the measuring sensor on the glued surface as described in detail in the packaging.
- Use the cutter to lightly score the area around the measuring sensor.
Function
- Turn the top knob of the adhesion meter counterclockwise to release the locking mechanism and the spring.
- Now screw the adhesion meter (thread at the bottom) onto the sensor until the device reaches the surface to be tested.
- Turn the top knob clockwise until the measuring head is released from the test surface. You can read the detachment force from scale 1 or 2, depending on the measuring sensor used.
- If the measuring sensor has not separated from the surface, turn the knob counterclockwise to release the spring mechanism and remove the device from the measuring sensor.
- Separate the measuring head from the surface using a chisel and hammer.
- If the measuring sensor has separated from the surface, unscrew it from the device using the wrench.
- Clean any glue and paint residues or fragments from the surface of the measuring sensor.
