PCE-DRB 2 is a handheld digital refractometer for the refractive index (nD) and the dextran, fructose, glucose, lactose and maltose content (%) of liquids. Automatic temperature compensation works from +10 ... +40 °C / +50 ... +104 °F, and the large LCD shows the measured value with the temperature. The IP65 housing resists water and dust.

Only 4 to 5 drops of sample are needed and a reading takes about 1 s. Calibrate with distilled water. The meter switches off after 1 min without use. Used in food processing and for field checks before and during harvest. Close the lid before measuring.
