The viscometer has a measurement range of 27.... 5250 cp and accuracy ±1% of the measurement range. Due to the wide measurement range, it is possible to perform a broad spectrum of measurements with the viscometer, such as the precise determination of the viscosity of paints, oils, and other liquids.
The 5" LCD touchscreen allows easy operation of the viscometer. The measured values from the viscometer are displayed during measurement, while simultaneously being graphically shown on the screen to monitor the viscosity progress.
The external temperature sensor on the viscometer can be used to ensure the sample is at the correct temperature. This allows comparison of measurement results with other samples, as temperature affects viscosity. Thus, temperature measurement is an essential part of determining viscosity.
With the optional software, the viscometer can be connected to a computer. The software displays the measurement values from the viscometer live during a measurement. The individual measurement points are displayed in a table as well as graphically. The recorded measured values can be exported as a .csv file for further processing.
