PCE-EM 890 Anemometer
Measuring device for recording various environmental data / Various measuring functions / MAX / MIN measurement / High accuracy
The PCE-EM 890 anemometer is an instrument for measuring environmental conditions. The anemometer gives you an accurate measurement very quickly. Due to its small size and light weight, this anemometer is a handy information system for weather conditions. It is possible to switch between measurement functions with the press of a button. Thus, this anemometer is ideal for technicians, sailors, farmers, and many other people whose activities are significantly affected by weather conditions.
With the meter, you can read wind speed, temperature, wind chill, dew point, relative humidity, heat index, barometric pressure, and altitude above sea level. The anemometer offers you the functions of single measured value, minimum value, maximum value measurement.
Explanation of various environmental conditions:
Wind Chill
The wind chill is the temperature perceived by the human body under the influence of low temperatures and wind.
Air pressure
The air pressure at any location in the Earth's atmosphere is the hydrostatic air pressure prevailing at that location. This pressure corresponds to the weight of the air column above the Earth's surface or a body on it. The average atmospheric pressure at sea level is 101325 Pa = 1013.25 hPa = 101.325 kPa and therefore is part of the normal conditions.
Dew Point / Dew Point Temperature
Air can absorb more water vapor as the temperature increases. When the temperature of a building material or air decreases, and when the relative humidity reaches At 100%, the excess water vapor condenses. The boundary area is called the dew point. Buildings must be designed so that the dew point temperature inside the airtight layer is not lower. This prevents condensation formation and the resulting structural damage or mold. Air currents through the airtight layer are particularly harmful. In this case, a drop below the dew point is always expected. The wet bulb temperature, which plays an important role in the air conditioning industry, for example, is a very important parameter in many other fields.
