Taps

Taps are cutting tools used to produce internal threads in pre-drilled holes, enabling accurate fastening with screws and bolts. They are essential in machining, maintenance and repair work where thread form, tolerance and surface quality must be controlled.

Available as hand and machine taps, in sets or single pieces, for metric/imperial threads, with various pitches, lengths and geometries (straight flute, spiral flute, spiral point). Options include HSS or HSS-E and wear-resistant coatings for longer tool life, from Baer, Yg & Hepyc.

Choose based on material (steel, stainless, aluminum), hole type (blind/through) and the required tolerance class.
