The Helios‑Preisser GmbH is a German company based in Gammertingen (Schwäbische Alb), which for more than 75 years has specialized in the manufacture of high-precision manual measuring instruments. It has an extensive range of more than 3,500 different products, such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and many special measuring tools. In addition, it offers specialized custom configurations. With production “Made in Germany”, two production facilities, and more than 120 employees, Helios-Preisser covers applications in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, laboratory measurement, and quality control, making it a reliable provider for demanding measurement projects. Helios-Preisser now belongs to the Mahr Group.

Limit snap gauges are dimensional control masters used to quickly verify shaft and cylindrical part tolerances using the GO/NO-GO principle. They enable fast in-process inspection without reading a value, ensuring consistent repeatability on the shop floor.
Available in single or double-ended styles, fixed or adjustable designs, for different nominal diameters and tolerance classes, with hardened contact faces for wear resistance. Options from Insize, Ultra & Preisser.
Well suited for machine shops and production lines where 100% checks and reduced scrap are critical.
