The PCE-MSR 450 magnetic stirrer is an instrument for stirring solutions of up to 20 liters with an adjustable stirring speed between 200 and 2200 rpm, which can be set in 10 rpm steps and is also variable during stirrer operation.
In addition to continuous stirrer operation, the PCE-MSR 450 features a timer function with adjustable time intervals from 1 to 999 minutes and a pulsing alternating-stirring mode in which, within a predetermined time period, the magnetic stirrer is alternately stirred clockwise or counterclockwise. By default, the device will agitate clockwise.
The magnetic stirrer also has a slip detection function.
