Manometer

A manometer is an instrument used to measure pressure, typically in fluid systems. It consists of a U-shaped tube filled with fluid (usually mercury or water) connected to a pressure source. The difference in fluid levels in the two arms of the U-tube indicates the pressure of the fluid. Manometers can be used to measure absolute, gauge, or differential pressure, depending on the design and connection to the pressure source.
