A moisture analyzer (humidity analyzer) is used to determine the moisture content of a sample. Moisture analyzers use the Loss On Drying (LOD) method to measure moisture. The sample is weighed, then heated, and finally weighed again after drying. The weight difference allows the determination of moisture loss.
