Milling zero setters are used to determine the height of the workpiece on the Z axis in the milling machine. The zero zero is placed on the workpiece. The tool is carefully moved to until the counter reads "0". The reference dimension of 100 mm relative to the workpiece is then reached. 0.5mm safety spring range included.
