Parallel Tiles Adjustable

Starrett's Parallel Adjustable Plates provide a wide range of use in layouts, measurements, inspections and adjustments on a variety of machine tooling. Their adjustable feature allows precise adjustment with the help of a micrometer, and they can be used instead of many fixed-type parallel plates. They are useful as gauges for checking the size of grooves and openings. They are also convenient for use in machine vises, for aligning or setting work on milling fixtures, grinders, planes, drills, and many other applications. Parallel tiles slide smoothly and are easy to adjust. Smaller sizes A, B and C lock with one screw, while larger sizes D, E and F have two locking screws. All parallel tiles are 9/32" (7mm) thick.
