Contour Gauges

Contour gauges are profile-copy tools that capture the shape of an edge or surface using sliding pins, allowing you to transfer the contour for accurate marking, cutting, or fitting. They’re widely used in woodworking, metalworking, and general fabrication to replicate curves, corners, and irregular profiles.

Available as metal or plastic sets, including models that connect in series for a longer tracing length, and versions with plastic pins to reduce the risk of scratching delicate workpieces. Choose by width, pin density, and locking mechanism, from Ultra, Staba & Richter.

Well suited for tile fitting, pipe cut-outs, skirting boards, and maintenance work; higher pin density is recommended when fine detail matters.
