Side Milling discs are slitting/side-and-face milling cutters used for side and peripheral milling, with cutting edges on the circumference and often on the sides to remove material accurately when producing slots, grooves and shoulders.

Available in multiple diameters, thicknesses and bore sizes, with different tooth counts/pitches and geometries for steel, stainless or aluminium. Options include HSS and carbide, from Yg, Hepyc & Echain.

When selecting, consider arbor/toolholder fit, required cutting width and machining conditions to ensure chip evacuation, surface finish and tool life.
