The PCE-T 240 tachometer is a multi-functional instrument that takes measurement by laser, by contact as well as having a strobe function and a thermometer with K and P1000 thermocouple. The tachometer contact measurement range is 0.5 ... 99,999 RPM. In order to transmit the speed to the tachometer, the tachometer is supplied with two rubber measuring tips with an inner and an outer cone. In the case of contact measurement with the tachometer, the speed can also be determined in m/min, for example, using the tip-wheel.
In addition to contact measurement, speed can be measured by laser. To do this, a piece of reflective tape measuring 1 x 1 cm is placed on the test object. The speedometer can determine the speed through the reflection of light from the film.
In addition, the speed can be determined from the tachometer using the strobe function. Flash frequency can be doubled or halved for instant adjustment. The speed with the strobe mode is then determined as soon as the test specimen appears stationary.
In addition to measuring rpm and speed, the tachometer provides the ability to measure temperature. Any type K thermocouple can be connected for this purpose. If required, a PT1000 resistance temperature sensor can also be connected.
Thanks to the many functions, the tachometer can already be used in many areas with a wide range of applications.
