The PCE-MA 50X thermobalance is an innovative solution for the rapid and highly accurate determination of moisture in a wide variety of materials.
Based on the known Darr moisture measurement method (gravimetric method), the moisture content of materials is determined by comparing the weight of the sample before and after drying, with a reading of 0.1 mg (0.0001 g). This also corresponds to a moisture reading of 0.0001%. In this case, very high measurement accuracy can be achieved with a measurement error of only 0.0001% moisture.
The opening and closing of the chamber where the sample is placed happens without contact, automatically. This reduces measurement errors and ensures accuracy and reliability. On the 5" digital color touch screen, the user can select the operating language of the balance as well as a large number of databases, in which users, products, customers, drying parameters and up to 5,000 sample analysis records can be stored. The setting of the drying processes can be individually adapted to the requirements of each material.
