Ultrasonic material thickness gauge PCE-TG 50 /
Handheld thickness gauge with measuring range 1.2 ... 200.0 mm / 0.05 ... 7.87 in (steel) and adjustable ultrasonic speed
The PCE-TG 50 is an ultrasonic thickness gauge for metal, glass, plastic and other homogeneous materials. This portable handheld material thickness gauge works with an external ultrasonic contact sensor and requires the use of coupling gel or paste. The probe directs the ultrasonic waves through the gel to the material to be measured. Since different materials transmit ultrasound at different speeds, the PCE-TG 50 material thickness gauge allows for ultrasonic speed settings to cover a wide variety of applications.
Operation and handling of the ultrasonic caliper is easy via seven buttons. Using the built-in calibration block, the measuring device can be calibrated on site or in the field easily and quickly. Measured values can be transferred to a computer using the optional software (not included) and connection cable with the ability to export the data to Excel.
