The photometer has a wide measurement range of 0 ... 400 klux. Illumination is measured using an external silicon photodiode with a spectral filter in lux and footcandles. The measured value is displayed on the photometer screen both numerically and graphically. The measured value can be compared to a reference value by pressing the "REL" button. The light meter also has maximum and minimum value measurement functions, which are displayed on the screen by pressing the corresponding "MAX" and "MIN" buttons. With "PEAK" mode, the photometer records the maximum light values it detects at a sampling rate of 1 per 10 µs.
The PCE-LMD 10 has a memory of 32000 records. This data can be exported in csv format for further analysis and processing on a computer.
Also measurement can be taken live via computer.
The built-in Li-Ion 3.7 V battery can be recharged via a 5V DC voltage via micro-USB. Optionally, an ISO calibration certificate is available.
