The 3D-Tester is gripped like a tool on the milling machine and used for zeroing on the edges of the workpiece. It can measure in any direction (X-, Y-, Z- axis - hence the name "3D-Tester"). When the gauge reads zero, the cutter spindle is right at the edge of the workpiece. It is not necessary to calculate the diameter of the probe ball – just zero it!
All Universal 3D-Testers are individually tested and adjusted during assembly in order to achieve maximum measurement accuracy.
Includes a Ø3 mm ceramic probe.
