The caliper F 1000/30 is mainly used to measure the thickness of thin sheets or cellophane, bag.
The pointer rotation of 0.2 mm instead of 0.1 mm minimizes the impact of temperature differences or other environmental effects. It is therefore less necessary to set the pointer to 0 by turning the cover compared to the more accurate and more sensitive models F 1101/30 and F 1101/30-0.1.
The contact force is about 2.2 N.
