The torque wrench tester consists of a portable measuring device and an external torque transducer. The torque transducer connects to the handheld device via a 1.5 m / 4.9 ft cable, allowing installation on a test stand or direct assembly on a test bench.
The torque measuring device is delivered calibrated so that control measurements can start immediately. The measurement accuracy of the device is 0.5% of the measuring range. Therefore, it is used as a reference device for testing and adjusting static torque tools. A screw clamp is necessary for dynamic torques.
The torque transducer has a 1/2" square drive and can perform torque measurements in both rotational directions. With a sampling rate of 1600 Hz, the torque meter reliably detects the initial and peak torque (PEAK). Thanks to freely adjustable alarm values, the torque measuring device can warn the user of tool overload. For a more detailed analysis, the user has the option to connect the device to a computer and further process the measurements via software.
The digital torque wrench tester is a precise instrument that quickly indicates errors and helps to accurately eliminate them. The meter can be used as often as needed to keep the tool in excellent condition, as well as for regular quality assessment, which is one of the key parameters in any application.
