The PCE-ITE 50 is an insulation and resistance meter essential in an electrical installation as it provides measurements for insulation resistance, earth resistance, loop impedance, voltage, low resistance measurement, as well as RCD testing . With the PCE-ITE 50 you can ensure that fixed electrical installations are installed safely and correctly. Electrical cables are energized during insulation measurement to detect leakage currents, which cause material displacement or heat. In most cases, these leakage currents are so small that they are not detected by RCD protection devices and in the worst case can cause fire. The PCE-ITE 50 tester can perform installation measurement with a test voltage of 125V, 250V, 500V, or 1000V.
