The PCE-TCR 200 performs color analysis based on the CIE L*a*b, L*c*h*, E*ab and RGB color spaces. By means of an internal normalized white light source the surface is illuminated. The colorimeter absorbs the light reflected from the background and processes it. In addition to displaying Lab colors, it displays RGB, LCH and HCL measurements.
The PCE-TCR 200 colorimeter can detect the distance ΔE between different color patterns. It also enables the user to check if the measurement exceeds the threshold value. Color measurement is taken via high precision silicon sensor. The sensor detects reflected light according to light source regulations D65, D50 or F11, which can be selected using the menu. The internal memory can store 30 values in 12 groups. This allows easy comparison of the measurement with reference values. The colorimeter is powered by 4 AA batteries or mains power.
Measurement data can be transferred to a computer via a USB port. The PCE-TCR 200 is delivered in an impact-resistant aluminum case.
