Accelerometer PCE-VM 20
Vibration measuring device for vibration measurement on machines / Direct evaluation according to DIN ISO 10816 / Various measurement modes / Real-time FFT analysis / Route option for fast acquisition of measuring points

The PCE-VM 20 vibration measuring device is a compact device for the direct evaluation of a machine's condition and the measurement of possible vibrations.
The vibration meter can detect vibration accelerations (up to 20 g), vibration velocities (up to 200 mm/s), and vibration displacements (up to 2000 μm) over a frequency range from 1 ... 10,000 Hz. At the same time, frequency measurement can be performed via FFT analysis to filter dominant vibration frequencies.

The PCE-VM 20 vibration meter can evaluate and display signals from standard IEPE piezoelectric vibration sensors as well as piezoelectric vibration sensors with charge output.

From our Wiki

Vibration Meters

Vibration meters (vibration meters) are predictive maintenance instruments that record mechanical vibrations in rotating machinery. They are used for early fault diagnosis by analyzing acceleration, velocity, and displacement, enabling the identification of problems before they lead to catastrophic failure or production downtime.

  • Analysis Parameters: They measure vibration magnitude (RMS) and peak (Peak), while advanced models perform frequency analysis FFT.
  • Applications: Ideal for checking motors, pumps, fans, and bearings in industrial facilities.
  • Diagnostic Value: They help identify imbalance (unbalance), misalignment, component looseness, and wear of rolling elements.
