HSS Tool Bits come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They are usually square and available in different Grades. HSS M2 high speed steel is for use in relatively soft material. HSS M35 with 5% Cobalt is an economical grade for general use and is best suited for applications involving interrupted cuts and roughing. Finally HSS M42 8% Cobalt with very high hardness offers top performance even in high strength steels.
