Knurling wheels

Knurling wheels, also known as knurling rollers or rosettes, are tools used to create textured patterns on cylindrical surfaces, usually made of metal. These wheels are attached to a lathe and pressed against the rotating workpiece to imprint a series of ridges or grooves. The patterns, such as straight, diagonal, or diamond shapes, improve grip on items like handles, knobs, and other components. The dimensions of knurling wheels, including diameter and pitch (distance between ridges), are typically measured in millimeters or TPI (teeth per inch).
