The Helios‑Preisser GmbH is a German company based in Gammertingen (Schwäbische Alb), which for more than 75 years has specialized in the manufacture of high-precision manual measuring instruments. It has an extensive range of more than 3,500 different products, such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and many special measuring tools. In addition, it offers specialized custom configurations. Machine precision levels are high-sensitivity instruments used to level and align machine beds, guideways, and reference surfaces during installation, setup, and maintenance. Sensitivity in mm/m indicates the height deviation (in mm) over 1 meter, enabling repeatable, traceable leveling.
Available in multiple lengths (e.g., 200–300 mm) and sensitivities (0.01–0.4 mm/m), with aluminum or steel bodies, square/prismatic bases for shafts, plus magnetic and digital versions, from Insize, Richter & Ultra.
