TN-- inserts are 60° negative turning inserts (TNMA/TNMG) designed for stable machining, high edge strength and predictable wear. They are used for roughing and finishing on steel, stainless steel and cast iron in general-purpose lathe operations.
Available in multiple sizes (e.g., TN--16, TN--22), grades and coatings, with a wide choice of chipbreaker geometries to control chips and reduce cutting forces. Options with multiple cutting edges help extend tool life and lower cost per edge.
