View full detailsUltrasonic flow meters can be used to measure the flow velocity and volume of liquids flowing through pipes without direct contact. For this purpose, the ultrasonic flow meter has two sensors, which are placed on the pipe as a transmitter and receiver and fixed there. Measurement is possible in both metal and plastic pipes. The sensors can also be used for many different pipe cross-sections. For this reason and because no changes are required for existing pipes. When interpreting the values, it should be taken into account that the measurement result can be distorted due to the heterogeneity of the liquid, for example due to high viscosity, entrained gas bubbles, or solids.
The ultrasonic flow meters are advanced measuring instruments that calculate liquid flow rate without coming into direct contact with the medium. They use high-frequency sound waves to determine flow velocity, providing a non-invasive solution that does not cause pressure drop or wear in the piping system.
