Measures liquid flow velocity in pipes with a diameter of 20 ... 108 mm / ≈ 3/4 ... 4 in
The flow rate calculation according to the transit time principle is as follows:
v = measured velocity
T1 = execution time of the ultrasonic signal in the flow direction
T2 = time of execution of the ultrasonic signal against the direction of flow
L = length of the ultrasonic wave
α = angle of ultrasonic signal to the flow
The principle of transit time requires that the tubes are full and free of bubbles and particles.
Note: To transfer data to a PC, SOFT-PCE-TDS software is required. Software sold separately.
The user must take into account that the measured values of the meter depend on the geometry, material and coating of the pipe, the type of medium, its temperature and its velocity, the type of sensor and the method of measurement.
