Description:
High-quality machine Tap from YG-1, a leading cutting tool manufacturer from Korea. It offers reliability, long service life, and excellent cutting performance even in demanding materials. Ideal for productive use, with precise threading and cutting stability, it is a premium choice for professional applications.
Workpiece Materials
Excellent choice for:
- (H38-39) - Hardened Steel
- (H40-41) - Hardened Cast Iron
Suitable but not optimal choice for:
- (P5-9) - Mild Alloyed Steels - (Steels - Structural Steels)
Cutting Material
-
Solid Carbide – Solid carbide, composed of tungsten carbide (WC) and cobalt (Co) as a binder. It offers excellent wear resistance, high hardness, and thermal stability. It is particularly brittle and fragile.
-
TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) – Titanium carbonitride. Provides greater hardness and wear resistance compared to TiN, while further reducing friction.
