Machining Materials - - (P) - Steels - Alloy Steels (Steel - Alloy Steel)
Former - - (UG) - Geometry for general machining of steels. Features a relatively large rake angle (rake angle) for smoother chip flow and a reinforced cutting edge with a flat section on the edge (T-land). Suitable for medium machining and continuous cutting. Combines toughness (toughness) and high wear resistance (wear resistance)
Quality - YG3125 – First choice for steel machining (P15–P35). New grade with high heat resistance and interrupted cutting. CVD MT-TiCN–Al₂O₃ coating with final TiN layer for wear control and easy recognition of worn edges. Surface treatment reduces built-up edge formation and improves chip evacuation. Ideal for continuous and interrupted cuts in mass production applications. - - YG3020 – First choice for general steel machining (P15–P30). CVD TiCN–Al₂O₃ coating. Substrate specially designed for high toughness and smooth surface for increased wear resistance.

General Information - Turning inserts from YG1, a leading cutting tool manufacturer from Korea.
