Processing Materials - - (P) - Steel - Alloy Steel

Configurator - - (UG) - Geometry for general machining of steels. It has a relatively large rake angle for smoother chip flow and a reinforced cutting edge with a flat section on the edge ( T-land ). Suitable for moderate machining and continuous cutting. Combines toughness and high wear resistance

Quality - YG3125 – First choice for steel machining (P15–P35). New grade with high heat and interrupted cutting resistance. CVD MT-TiCN–Al₂O₃ coating with TiN topcoat for wear control and easy identification of worn edges. Surface treatment that reduces false cut generation and improves chip removal. Ideal for continuous and interrupted cuts in mass production applications. - - YG3020 – First choice for general steel machining (P15–P30). CVD TiCN–Al₂O₃ coating. Substrate specifically designed for high toughness and smooth surface for increased wear resistance.
