Types of Through Coolant Tapers:
- Type A: Without coolant hole.
- Type AD: Central coolant hole.
- Type B: Coolant hole through the flange.
- Type ADB: Coolant hole through the flange and central passage.
Morse Tapers
Morse tapers are available in eight sizes identified by a number between 0 and 7. This is abbreviated as MT followed by a digit; for example, a Morse taper number 4 would be MT4.
