Morse taper (DIN 228) with a seat for an ER collet, Tang type. The tang at the end of the taper prevents rotation and allows easy removal with a wedge — ideal for mounting in the lathe tailstock or in Morse taper sockets / sleeves.
Accepts ER-type collets for holding end mills, drills and other cutting tools.
