Standard Probe for the Roughness Tester ISR-C300
Roughness testers measure surface texture by tracing a stylus over the workpiece and capturing the profile to calculate parameters such as Ra, Rz and Rt. They are used to verify machining quality and confirm drawing specifications on metal and non-metal parts.
Available in portable and bench models, with different traverse lengths, stylus tip radii, cut-off filters, and memory/data output for reporting. Options include clear displays, printable results and calibration standards, from Insize & Mahr.

Tachymeters
The roughness testers are electronic precision instruments used to measure and quantify the surface roughness of a material after machining. They operate by detecting the micro-peaks and valleys of the surface via a fine diamond stylus, converting the physical movement into digital data.
