Profile Projectors

Profile projectors are measuring instruments used in manufacturing and quality control to measure the dimensions and features of a part. They use a combination of optics and lighting to project the image of a section onto a screen, where it can be compared with a reference standard or CAD data.

A typical profile projector consists of a light source, a lens system, a stage where the part is placed, and a screen where the magnified image of the part is projected.
