Turning holders are toolholders designed to rigidly clamp cutting tools and carbide inserts on a lathe, maintaining correct cutting geometry, stiffness and repeatability. They are used for external and internal turning, shoulder profiling, grooving and finishing operations.
Available in right/left-hand versions, for OD or ID machining, with different shank sizes, approach angles and insert clamping styles (top clamp, screw, lever). Options from Insize, Mitutoyo & PCE.
Suitable for machine shops and production lines, where the right holder helps reduce chatter, improve surface finish and extend insert life.
