Collets are precision clamping chucks used to hold cutting tools (e.g., end mills) with high concentricity and secure grip. They fit into a toolholder/taper and provide reliable torque transmission on CNC and conventional machine tools.
Available in multiple standards and series, with a wide choice of clamping diameters, tolerances and materials, plus options for higher accuracy or high-speed operation. Options from Yg, Vertex & Bright.
When choosing, consider the toolholder/taper type, clamping range and required runout to improve surface finish and extend tool life.
