Dial calipers of the spring-jaw (snap gauge) type are comparative measuring tools used for fast, repeatable checks of diameters, wall thickness, grooves and tubes. Constant contact force helps reduce operator influence during in-process inspection.
Available in external and internal styles, with different throat depths, measuring ranges and jaw geometries for hard-to-reach features. Options include dial or digital readouts, and setting via ring gauge or a micrometer, from Kroeplin & Insize.
Well suited for machining, production lines and QC where quick tolerance verification is critical.
