Repeatability

Repeatability

Repeatability shows how close the readings fall to one another when the same object is measured many times under the same conditions (same instrument, same operator, same environment, short time span). An instrument can be highly repeatable (very consistent) yet not accurate, if it steadily returns a «wrong» value.
