PCE-T 1200 digital multi-channel data logging thermometer
Temperature data logger with 12 channels / Illuminated display / SD memory card and automatic temperature compensation (ATC)

The PCE-T 1200 is a 12-channel digital data logging thermometer with an S memory card (capacity up to 16GB). Optional software is available which allows the thermometer to connect to a computer via USB for direct data transfer and analysis via Microsoft Excel. The range of data logging intervals varies from 1...3600 seconds. The 4.5" LCD display features green backlighting and can simultaneously show measurements from the first 8 channels (CH 1 ... CH 8), and by pressing a button, the remaining channels (CH 9 ... CH 12) are displayed. The digital thermometer operates with six different types of converters or sensors, including type K, type J, type T, type E, type R, and type S thermocouples.

Contact Thermometers

The contact thermometers are precision instruments that measure temperature through direct physical contact of a sensor (probe) with the object under test. Unlike infrared thermometers, contact thermometers provide the highest possible accuracy, as they eliminate errors due to surface reflectivity.

  • Sensor Technology: They typically use thermocouples (Thermocouples type K, J, T) for a wide temperature range or Pt100 (RTD) sensors for laboratory-accuracy measurements.
  • Types of Sensors (Probes):Penetration: With a sharp tip for food, semi-fluid materials, or soil.Surface: With a flat head for measurement on plates, molds, or electronic components.Immersion: For liquids and chemical solutions.Air: For fast temperature measurement in air-conditioning systems.
  • Advantages: High repeatability, ability to measure inside a body (not only on the surface), and excellent durability in industrial environments.
