The PCE-GPA 50 is used for measuring current of 1 or 3 phases.

Measurements are displayed on the screen both numerically and graphically with the phase waveform display.

The multimeter also provides the ability to measure current voltage and therefore can calculate active, apparent, and reactive power with the help of the phase angle. Additionally, it can measure other network parameters such as energy, power factor, and harmonics.

Finally, the PCE-GPA 50 features data logging functionality. The measured values can be stored directly by the meter on a micro SD card. The meter is powered either by 2 x 1.5V AA batteries or by mains power for long-term measurements.
