The PCE-XXM 30 is a colorimeter for fast, precise colour measurement of surfaces. It gives the colour spaces CIE-LAB, CIE-LCh, HunterLab, CIE-Luv, XYZ and RGB. An LED covering 400 ... 700 nm is the light source and the measuring aperture is Ø8 mm / 0.31".

It also measures colour differences: measure a reference, then the test parts. A stored tolerance gives a green display for pass and red for fail. Bluetooth connects the meter to an Android device with the free Play Store app for remote measurement, parameter changes and readout of stored values. Uses include print quality control and checking sprayed car paint. The battery lasts approx. 10,000 measurements and recharges via USB-C.

Colorimeters

The colorimeters are specialized measuring instruments that determine the absorption of specific wavelengths of light by a solution.
