The PCE-VA 20 anemometer in a set with volumetric flow hood is used for measuring flow velocity and volumetric flow rate in ventilation and air conditioning system maintenance. Additionally, the anemometer with the volumetric flow hood can measure environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity.
From this, the meter calculates the dew point (DP) and wet bulb temperature (WBT). All measured and calculated parameters are displayed on the anemometer. At the top of the screen, flow velocity, humidity, and average value are shown. Depending on the measurement mode, temperature, volumetric flow, wet bulb temperature, and dew point are displayed at the bottom of the screen. For better and faster evaluation of measured values, maximum, minimum, and average measurements are also available for the anemometer user with the volumetric flow hood.
The anemometer is powered by four 1.5V AAA batteries. Thus, the anemometer can be used as a portable device. In addition to the anemometer, this measuring set is also available with 2 flow cones that can be attached directly to the instrument. The flow cones are suitable for measuring air mass either in round or square duct outlets or inlets.
