The PCE-WV A is a robust wind direction sensor for fixed installation in industrial environments. It measures wind direction over 0 ... 360 ° with no dead band at north. Its 4 ... 20 mA output connects to data loggers, process control systems and displays. A 20 m cable is fitted for connection to the evaluation unit. The housing is rated IP65 against the weather.

Typical uses include wind warning systems, building services and building automation, irrigation control, greenhouse automation, solar trackers, cable cars in ski areas, cranes, wind turbines and weather stations.

Anemometers
