Belt Tension Gauges

Belt tension gauges are inspection instruments used to verify correct tension on power transmission belts (V-belts, poly-V and timing belts) against the system or belt manufacturer’s specification. Proper tension helps prevent slip, noise and premature wear of bearings and pulleys.

Available in mechanical and digital versions, using deflection-force or sonic frequency methods, for different belt widths/materials and force ranges. Options include clear scales, quick zeroing/calibration and protective cases, from Insize & PCE.

Well suited for maintenance on industrial drives, pumps, compressors and HVAC. Choose based on belt type, access to the measuring point and the required accuracy.
