The PCE-GM 55 gloss meter with measuring angles 20°, 45°, and 75° makes this meter ideal for applications measuring high and medium gloss. The special 75° measuring angle allows, among other things, gloss measurements on paper and fabrics. The gloss meter is based on ASTM, DIN, and EN ISO standards. The measuring range varies from 0 ... 200 GU.
The gloss level measurement is based on the reflection of light on the surface to be measured. The gloss level is continuously measured and simultaneously displayed on the meter's LC screen. Via the SCI, the measured values can be transferred to a computer. The meter operates with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery which is charged with a 5 V charger.
