The PCE-PTR 200N is a handheld device that is ideal for measuring fruit hardness with a range up to 200 N / 45 lbs. The user has the option of choosing a unit of measurement ( N, kg, lb). The device is supplied with adapters of various shapes, which can be screwed into the device in order to offer the optimal solution for differently designed surfaces in pressure and voltage measurement. In addition to the adapters, an extension rod is provided, which allows measurements in hard-to-reach places. This extension rod is 65mm / 2.6 inches long. The PCE-PTR 200N force gauge includes a flat head adapter, hook adapter, ball head adapter, chisel head adapter and slotted head adapter, with the hook adapter used for pulling and tensile force measurements.
The PCE-PTR 200N can be mounted on a stand via a thread on the back. Test stands are necessary if periodic or tensile and compressive force measurements are required.
Caution: The internal dyno cell is maintenance-free, lightweight and characterized by an extremely long life. For the production of this cell, high quality materials are used, which guarantee maximum safety and longevity. The force meter has an overload range. If you exceed this range, you damage the internal load cell.
